The Lietukis Garage massacre

Crowd views the aftermath of a massacre at Lietukis Garage, where pro-German Lithuanian nationalists killed more than 50 Jewish men. Kovno, Lithuania, June 27, 1941.

As the Wehrmacht broke into the Baltic states as well as eastern Russia they were accompanied by killing squads – the Einsatzgruppen. Their task was to ‘deal’ with the communist officials and other ‘enemies of the Reich’ – principally the Jewish population. Their murders began immediately. 1. A Nazism is very bad thing therefore all peoples in Russia don’t want him. The Russia lost in the massacre of World War2 about 26 million persons.
